This one has been a long time in the making. Today we welcome Maine State Senator Joe Baldacci to the program. Senator Baldacci was originally supposed to join us back in October to talk running for office, but now he can talk what he is trying to get done in office.
Joe Baldacci was elected to the Maine State Senate to represent the City of Bangor and Hermon on November 3, 2020 and was sworn-in on December 6, 2020. Baldacci is the chair of the State and Local Government Committee, he also sits on the Health and Human Services Committee.
The State Senator is an attorney with a small private practice in downtown Bangor and a lifelong resident of Bangor. Joe has been practicing law here for 28 years representing Maine families and small businesses. He now has three other attorneys working with him Baldacci, Sullivan and Baldacci.
Baldacci also served for 12 years on the Bangor City Council including twice as Mayor and Council Chair. Joe has promoted and supported several important economic redevelopment projects throughout the city. He and Beth have two children Caroline and Olivia Baldacci.
